Our Touch-Up Policy
At our studio, you can get a paid or free tattoo retouch. You can clarify the terms with a consultant by simply calling us or contacting the artist.
Some tattoos don’t heal as expected, especially in specific areas, which the artist will warn you about in advance. Therefore, we can correct these areas for an additional fee.
We have developed a comprehensive policy for our clients. It allows you to rest assured that we will help in any situation, and some are even free.
Fine Line Tattoo Touch-Up Care
A fine line tattoo touch up is popular among some clients. Fine lines can fade or blur. Careful aftercare helps avoid this problem, but if it does arise, we are happy to help.
The main reason people come to us for a fine line tattoo touch up is improper aftercare. What to avoid:
- Skin trauma before healing.
- Excessive washing of the tattooed area.
- Sudden skin or other illnesses unrelated to the tattoo.
Remember that touch-ups are a standard service in tattoo shops, and you shouldn’t avoid them. A timely touch-up and proper aftercare will help you achieve your desired design.
Tattoo Placement Policy
There are specific locations where artists recommend getting a tattoo. If you need a tattoo retouch, in most cases, we can restore the design at no additional charge. However, clients wanting a tattoo in a unique area should be aware of its specific features.
Hand, Finger & Foot Tattoos
These areas are among the top problem areas for a custom tattoo designer. While it’s possible to apply a tattoo there, sometimes a tattoo retouch is necessary.
Why are these areas problematic:
- Thin skin.
- Active movement.
- Frequent washing.
The specialist will inform you about the risks. If you decide to proceed with the tattoo, please note that touch-ups will incur an additional fee.
Neck, Face & Head Tattoos
Depending on the complexity of the design and the volume of coverage, the specialist may advise you of any restrictions. The artist will also warn you upfront that the areas are obvious and healing takes time. Additional tattoo retouch sessions will be required.
Reasons why this area is considered problematic:
- Frequent hair washing.
- Dandruff and similar factors that complicate healing.
- Daily washing with soap or cosmetics.
- Using facial creams and toners.
These and other things constantly affect the area where the tattoo is located. Also, these areas are highly visible to everyone, so people want them to look perfect. To achieve this, you need to have corrections done by a good specialist, and as often as possible.
Lip Tattoos
Lips are among the most difficult to heal. Reasons why tattoos don’t always look well in this area:
- Constant licking.
- Makeup application.
- Proximity to mucous membranes.
- Thin skin.
A combination of factors makes this area particularly challenging for both initial work and correction. However, anything is possible if you have patience and a strong desire to improve your appearance.
The artist will inform you about the need for frequent touch-ups, which, in most cases, will be at the client’s expense.
